combination of vehicles, semi-trailers, trucks, buses, etc., including all vehicles in
Classes 2,3,4 and 5, except motorcycles.

the holder to operate all vehicles except vehicles in Class 1 or 2 or motorcycles.

motorcycles.

CLASS 5 VEHICLES - Passenger cars, a bus
while not carrying passengers, a truck with not more than two axles, and any combination
of vehicles consisting of a truck with not more than two axles and a towed vehicle with a
registered gross vehicle weight of not more than 4,540 kgs. CLASS
5 LICENCE permits the holder to operate a Class 5 motor vehicle and a Class 3 motor
vehicle if it is registered as a farm truck.

CLASS 6 VEHICLES - Motorcycles. CLASS 6 LICENCE permits the holder to operate a motorcycle. Operation of
vehicles in Classes 1 to 5 are prohibited, unless the motorcycle Class 6 licence is held
in combination with Classes 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 licence.
May operate a Moped.***
A person wishing to operate a Moped only will be tested on a Moped
and restricted to the operation of a Moped.*** |

CLASS 7 LICENCE A learner's licence
permitting the holder to drive as a learner with in Classes 1 to 5 , if shown on licence,
and accompanied by a licences driver with at least twenty-four months experience in that
class of vehicle. Class 7 may be used in conjunction with a valid motorcycle instruction
permit. REQUIREMENTS FOR CLASS 7 LICENCE:
-Parental approval required if under 18 years
-Birth certificate and other identification on initial application is
required. |

AIR BRAKE ENDORSEMENT -permits the holder
to drive the vehicles equipped with Air Brakes in the Class of Vehicle for which he/she is
licenced. Drivers of Class 3 Farm Trucks equipped with Air Brakes are exempt from this
requirement. |
